Warnock did strike me as a more than decent prospect, but can't honestly say we miss him can we? Would he start ahead of Fabio? Probably not.

No he wouldn't butOriginally posted by Tee View PostWarnock did strike me as a more than decent prospect, but can't honestly say we miss him can we? Would he start ahead of Fabio? Probably not.
1) Aurelio is injured alot
2) Aurelio plays left midfield too
So with that in mind i would liked to have seen Warnock stay, he's a very good defender and has improved massively.
Not as if he's not at a bad in Aston Villa and Martin O'Neill is a pretty good judge of a player.
It's a pity but the fella wanted more playing time so it was for the best he moved on."Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

He wouldn't have improved as much if he had stayed here as he would not have benefited from the same run of regular games.
If he was still here now he'd probaably be a level or two below what he is doing for Villa and he would be a squad member that many would probably say wasn't good enough for us.A humble guy with healthy desire.

True but it's still a shame seeing a player flourish elsewhere and you wonder if we had kept him could have forced his way into the starting 11 and become the player he is now. If being the key word, it's used alot in football.Originally posted by The Erectile Banana View PostIt's a false arguement.

Good little player.
People overlook the fact he is not a defender, but was bought up as a left sided midfielder, hence the defensive lapses while playing for us.
Would have been a good dwuad palyer with his never say die attitude, and he could play a bit.In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

gutted he left us. at the time he was just breaking into the england setup and showed real promise. and to look at him now he would easily be our first choice left back and another home grown player too. less injury prone than aurelio and twice the player insua is.People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

The same could have been said about Ashley Cole in terms of how he was 'bought up'. One of them however improved their defensive play a lot more than the other - neither would now be a top class wide midfield player if they had stuck to their original position.Originally posted by Charly View PostGood little player.
