Bloody sods law, brother-in-law has got us 2 top notch corparates for this! Fukkity **** ****!Originally posted by Dr Evil View PostI only live 15 miles from Fratton Park and we had a few inches of snow overnight the temperature here is 1 degree and with another 4-6 inches due later today and overnight it looks like it will settle, knowing how **** that pitch and ground is i doubt the game will go ahead....especially if they still don't have the underground heating.

I'm a confident man Bob, well maybe deluded at the moment, but still we should be doing this mob over. I think we'll take the 3 points without too much trouble. We can't keep being ultra ****eOriginally posted by BobTheCharmer View Postreally?
the same team that narrowly lost AWAY to chelsea?
I think we should win but I expect it to be very scrappy and hopefully we'll nick a one nil.

I guess players who have been out of action for so long are more likely to pick up muscular injuries, maybe he would have been a risk anyway in these conditions. Great to see Johnson and Torres back though.Originally posted by little dave hedgehog View Postwell that sucks.
although i understand that torres and johnson are likely to start.
Heard anything about postphonement?* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

As for Aquilani being injured it's Rafas fault for rushing him back:bird:You Can Lead A Horse To Water , But A Pencil Must Be Lead!

They seem confident on the portsmouth site........Originally posted by The_weatherman View PostThanks for the update
Pitch Perfect For Liverpool Clash Snow may disrupt many people’s weekends, but Pompey and Liverpool fans can rest assured.
The groundsmen at Fratton Park, led by Bob Jones, were well prepared for the freezing temperatures – and snowy conditions.
Frost covers were laid over the turf on Wednesday afternoon, once the pitch had been marked, and then the water-proof covers that make up the inflatable dome were added in the evening.
The snow was swept from the upper covers this morning and, with temperatures of over minus 4°C being predicted overnight tonight, heaters are due to be turned on and the dome inflated later today to protect the pitch ahead of the big match against Liverpool on Saturday.
Lucius Peart, head of operations, said: “The pitch is in perfect condition for our match on Saturday.
“We took all the necessary precautions earlier this week and we will now be keeping the pitch warm and ready for the game"

apparently, it is cold and snowy in portsmouth, and their pitch isn't heated, so several people that i know believe it won't be played.
