Grant has done an excellent job. Although he did get to take over just as Hart seemed to have turned them back into a half decent unit.

Exactly, they will be well up for this, on a very dodgy pitch. As usual we seem to catch these cannon fodder teams at the worst possible moment while United seem to catch them when they decide to make 10 changesOriginally posted by dww View PostGrant has done an excellent job. Totally agree, seems to happen all the time. Same with teams with new managers. We always seem to play crap teams just after they've replaced their manager. Sure it happened after Spurs replaced Ramos last season.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostExactly, they will be well up for this, on a very dodgy pitch. It did, they were in truely woeful form the week before we were due to play them under Ramos, they sacked him, and it gave the team a massive lift just before we played themOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostTotally agree, seems to happen all the time. can't see that, how would the player react to being told, "you're not playing, but tell people you're injured". thats just insane. I do however believe that Rafa may be relieved that he's had no choice in the matter.Originally posted by Armchairkopite View PostGood team that. Part of me wonders whether Aquiliani is injured or not. It seems like an easy excuse to keep him out of the side today because Rafa wouldn't want him involved in a game like this just yet imo.
