I hate to say this but it may be more sensible in the long run to let Torres go if a bid of £100m is tabled. We need to rebuild massively but our hands are totally tied. I feel sick for saying it

I agree, I would not want him to go but for the sake of the club it may be what we have to do, Gerrard may need to go too. There will always be others that come through in the end even if it takes years. Nothing is worse than watching this current team they are a disgrace to the club, the fans and the city of Liverpool, absoloute disgrace.

What is incredible is that Pompey haven't even really created a solid chance. Their goals were half chances at best and were top class finishes. It's like anything bad that can happen does happen.

I'm glad that the two of you who've replied haven't jumped down my throat.

I felt really dirty for saying it, especially given the commitment and joy that he's given us. Actually, thinking about it, I'd rather see Gerrard go but it's about the money.
