Thanjk you.

We have to stick with Rafa no matter what until the end of the season. His position can then be reviewed. It is the least he deserves and I am still confident HE can turn things around.
Some, actually many of his decisions leave me wanting to tear my hair out and at times walk away from games, but the man is just so committed and passionate about Liverpool FC he deserves our support at this lowest point in his time with us.
And I really cannot think of anyone else who could walk into the job right now and make a real difference.
Corny and cliched etc, but Walk on with hope in your hearts..... YNWA.
Now the post match depression has gone to some extent, that pretty much sums up how I feel. Top post

im the biggest rafa supporter going. until today. what a ******.
he has to smarten up or leave. what the hell was jay spearing doing anywhere near that team when we had to win. a great little player for sure but if you keep that effing dirk on the pitch, there's not a man more deserving of the b enh imho.
its a high stakes game, rafa, dirk, and carrag-give-a-goal-away-her amongst other must get it together and learn to fooking well control a football.
I don’t think Rafa will be sacked during the season but I expect the owners to start sounding out potential replacements if our poor form continues into the new year. If by the end of February, or start of March, we’re outside the top four, I expect the owners to appoint a new manager (in principle) and have him in place (and Rafa sacked) as soon as the season ends.
The immediate problem for the owners is whether they should give Rafa any money for the January transfer window. Bearing in mind that it will cost the club millions to sack Rafa (one year into a five year contract), it might cost millions to appoint a new manager, we will lose out on £20m+ for not qualifying for the Champions League, and a new manager will expect funds to sign new players.
in trying to explain the situation to my gf, i think i've hit on what i feel like is benitez' major weakness.
benitez is a technocrat and a statistician. he is where he is today because he is very, very good at recognizing and playing important averages. but when playing the averages doesn't work he seems unwilling or unable to coach his way out of it. the problem is that at this moment, we don't need analysis, we need bread and butter coaching.
given the circumstances, i think it would actually make some kind of sense to have rafa assisting sammy lee for a month or two. i realize it's a bad idea for many reasons, and would never really happen, but we could use a blood and thunder man in charge right now.
Benítez: "I have seen the replay and for me it is not a sending-off, but anyway the referee was perfect. He didn't make any mistakes. Now Javier is injured, and I will say again the referee didn't make any mistake."
Press: "We don't understand? You say the referee didn't make a mistake?"
Benítez: "No he was perfect. Perfect. He was perfect."
Press: "So why was it not a sending-off?"
Benítez: "I have seen the replay, for me it's not a sending-off, but anyway. Perfect."
Press: "Was there any particular reason why players like Gerrard or Torres couldn't get it together and perform?"
Benítez: "No, the referee was perfect so Torres, he didn't have any problems."
Press: "You were a goal down before the sending-off, the average observer wouldn't say you were controlling the game at half-time. Why do you say it turned the game when you were a goal down already?"
Benítez: "If you see we created a couple of chances and we have plenty of possession in the first half I was convinced we could change the game."
Press: "Can you just explain what you said about the referee?"
Benítez: "Perfect. No mistakes."
Press: "But you say he made a mistake with the sending-off."
Benítez: "Perfect."
Press: "Don't you think Torres was fortunate to escape being penalised for that elbow?"
Benítez: "The referee was perfect."
I guess 'perfect' will be the new 'facht' that my friends stab at me with for the next couple seasons. Such joy.
goodbye. Sorry, but lets be honest, we can't jump on the backs of the yanks.. Its quite clear that rafa has lost the plot. The body language of key players suggests this.
At first i thought it was a bad run, but no.. way too far past a bad run now. Plain and simple, something needs to be done very quickly, and i just don't know who we could get in to come and bail us out.. Hiddink maybe?
I think its safe to say, that this season rafa has had more control over the club.. and its obvious that its gone tits up.
Rafa is a stubborn man, so he will not resign, and im sure of this.
