I think he doesnt believe in the team or the manager anymore. I dont blame him when everyone around him is ****ing everything up for the team he loves.

Well I've advocated Pellegrino getting the sack, would that do you?Originally posted by Reece View PostPerhaps Rafa should employ me as a consultant to help steady the ship. Seems the logical thing to do really.
Interesting idea. Don't want to turn this into an Alonso thread but I think you might be on to something.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostI think the problem is that he's recovering from injury and the midfield behind him can't get him in positions to be effective, we seriously lack creativity, his position requires someone behind him to control the game, Lucas and Mascherano can't do that. Until Aquilani is fit enough to play 90mins I think we should push him back into midfield
I've not seen every game this year but it seems like Torres is increasingly isolated up front and Gerrard is kind of stuck in no-mans land between attack and midfield. It doesn't help when Kuyt is having a hopeless time of it and injuries etc have cost us Riera for most of the season.
Don't want to

Neither do I but I think it's there for all to see, I think the absence of an Alonso-type player is also the reason for Kuyt's poor form. Last season Kuyt was playing further up the pitch getting alot of assists and chipping in with goals. Kuyt was most effective when Alonso was playing balls up to him in space in dangerous areas of the pitch. Without that Kuyt is playing further back, and he's not the type of player who can drive forward from deep he doesn't have the pace or the close control, hence he's having no influence on the gameOriginally posted by Matt View PostWell I've advocated Pellegrino getting the sack, would that do you?

Don't want toThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I saw discussing this 4-4-2 malarky earlier, I'm all for it. Time for Rafa to stop wasing time on a system, which we just have not got the players for. Until that happens 4-4-2 it Rafa. I would even forgive kuyt as a number 10 playing off Torres.Originally posted by Reece View PostGood shout, team v Wolves:
----------------Reina-----------------
Johnson-----Carragher---Agger----Aurelio
Gerrard-----Aquilani----Lucas-----Babel/Riera/Benayoun
------------Torres-----N'Gog----------
Easy this management lark

Oh please Rafa for the sake of my insanity dont do itOriginally posted by Matt View PostPotentially jizztastic! I like that team, I'd go with it.
I hope Aquilani's injury isn't serious because he's got to play now
But if I see Damien ****ing Plessis on the next team sheet I will actually go spastic.

normally at times like these you would always back the manager over any primadonna player including gerrard.
Nobody is bigger than the club, the manager is the one in charge and the players should tow the line.
Gerrard hasnt done anything outrageous per se, but his body language suggests that he doesnt want to play for benitez - who he has bailed out on many occasions over the past 5 seasons.
For that to happen - for stevie to lie down and give up clearly means that something is wrong and on this occasion I am with him.
The problem is when players start thinking they are in charge things go to pot and it will set a very dangerous precedent for the future of this club.[B]Sir Isaac Newton knew the universal law of karma - any action has its equal and opposite reaction.[B]

Lets look at our chances yesterday;
Gerrard crosses from the left, Torres just misses.
Gerrard knocks the ball down to Kuyt in the box, Kuyt does what he does best.
Gerrard whips in a freekick, Agger should have scored.
Gerrard sets up Kuyt in the box who as usual ****s it up, Gerrard shoot and almost scores.
Gerrard Takes the ball just outside the box and shoots just wide.
Any other chances anyone can remember?
Are you surprised he's pissed off, he just has look at the **** around to realise his dream of winning anymore silverware with Liverpool is zilch.
And as for that stupid **** Masch, totally deserved what he got, the ref told Stevie that he was going to send him off, Stevie went over to Rafa to let him know what the situation was, it was a dirty ****ing challenge and probably cost s the game. We should **** him off to City, if they are stupid enough to pay £30m for him.Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon
