By the way Villa are wank, long ball over the top to Gabby or long ball to the chest of Carew and they are defensively organised, that's it. Reminds me of us under Houllier.............
Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill: "We didn't deserve that. We should have had the game out of sight - Pepe Reina has pulled off some unbelievable saves tonight. We didn't deserve to lose the match, absolutely not, it's a cruel blow. But we'll fight back."

O'Neill is a deluded ****. We were the better side and Lucas was ruddy excellent.
totally agree, Lucas was one of the few that actually kept the ball well. Dirk and Yossi seemed to forget who they were playing for at times. Most inventive free kick for a while was the highlight until the 92nd minute!

While I thought Lucas was good I think it was pretty even with Villa being perfectly entitled to think they should have won as they did have the better chances. The idea they should have been 'out of sight' though is a massive exaggeration.
If I were a Villa fan though I would have been gutted to lose that match.

I understand what you say about the chances, but they did absolutely nothing in midfield and their chances were either from long balls over the top or deadballs. If O'Neall wants to win that way then he will fall well short of the top 4 by season's end.
