So O'Neil forgot the "luck evening itself out over course of season" bit then? So Lucas didn't score an own goal to help them out. What about Dunne's challenge on Kuyt today? Now for the jammy c*nts known as Spurs who played atrociously against us earlier this season and won. I expect Defoe to get 5.....one on ones with Reina and miss them all.

Pretty tight game overall, but we've been long overdue one that goes for us at the death.

Solid if not spectacular performance from us; we've definitely got problems in terms of creativity, width and pace, Torres looks entirely unfit and Aquilani was nowhere near the game pace at points... but we did well for the most part in defence and kept our heads up till the end. Villa had a couple of good spells in the game but they by no means should have been "out of sight".

Huh? Who was playing out of position then?

Thought we were decent but gave the ball away far, far too much.

Lovely finish from Torres who, to be fair, looked pretty disinterested until that point. I feel sorry for him playing up front by himself.

Two wins now against Reading in the FA Cup and Spurs in the league would make this season seem vaguely salvagable...

Strongest team against Reading please Rafa.

****ing great, 2 on the bounce and should give us great confidence against the yids. I hope Rafa picks a strong team for Reading, we need to build some momentum, then performances will come.

I'd bet i wasn't the only one that went completely and utterly berserk when Torres scored, nothing like an injury time winner.

We didn't create an awful lot but i thought we deserved it.

That's more like it, more positivity is needed around here don't you think.

I didn't see the game, but I understand Lucas had quite a good one?
                            Really?

Didn't put a foot wrong. Passed it nice and sharp and never shirked a challenge all night. He's getting there.

I thought him and Aquilani offered very little. They both gave the ball away a fair few times.
