lucas to me is playing for his career. he is putting everything into recent perfromances to try and stay at a big club like us as he knows should he leave he would end up at a hull or a stoke........and fair play to him he is improving slightly every game. however, he is not the answer to our midfield problem should masher go to barca in the summer. we would defo need to replace him with far better quality then lucas can give.

Its impressive that you can deduce what a player is thinking from just watching him playOriginally posted by the rev leeroy brown View Postlucas to me is playing for his career. he is putting everything into recent perfromances to try and stay at a big club like us as he knows should he leave he would end up at a hull or a stoke........and fair play to him he is improving slightly every game. however, he is not the answer to our midfield problem should masher go to barca in the summer. we would defo need to replace him with far better quality then lucas can give.

Perhaps my teams aren't accurate but I was thinking of -Originally posted by Fierce View PostUmm, got any examples??
Robinho - £32m
Tevez - £30m
SWP - £15m
Ashley Young - £12m
Milner - £13m
Downing - £15m
And I have no idea who you could possibly be thinking about at Wolves or Bolton!
Damn my slow typing skills
- Matt Taylor - Bolton
- Pedersen - Blackburn
- Petrov - Man City
- McGeady - Celtic
And really is £12m that much for a winger?
Tevez and Robinho are not wingers. Was muß, das muß.

Fair do's, but as Reece said, Petrov is the only one of those that I would even consider. And I don't think he'd be guaranteed a start in place of Yossi or RieraOriginally posted by foresterbloke View PostPerhaps my teams aren't accurate but I was thinking of -

If we sign McGeady then i'll stop supporting Liverpool.Originally posted by SlovenianKopite View Posti'd take mcgeady aswell, good squad player to have imo, might even have the ability to influence the game from the bench unlike some of the players we currently have. tricky little player.
He's got serious attitude issues and no way on earth is he good enough to wear a Liverpool jersey.

he had a row with strachan didn't he? i don't know what exactly that was about, so if you'd shed some light on it, i'd appreciateOriginally posted by OBadger View PostIf we sign McGeady then i'll stop supporting Liverpool.

and i think babel has attitude issues, but is still in our team.
mcgeady has that bit of unpredictability(on the pitch), and flair that we're currently lacking, and i'd be more than happy to have him as back-up/squad player. we need better players than him in the long run, but for a few mil, i'd take a punt, if i was rafa, but i'm not
