I hope we play Darby at right back an Carragher in the centre but I've got a feeling we won't I think he'll shift Carragher to right back and play Skrtel and Agger at centre back which would be a mistake IMO.

It's the process of elimination with Kuyt, next we trial at the back then in goal.

In all seriousness I think he'd be a decent wing back (we just don't play that system), I'd also be interested to see if he could play right back

I'm seriously worried about this match already. Spurs aren't the kind of team we'd want to playing right now. They've pace, skill and lots of quality up front.
Our defence will have to be on top form.

I expect Carra to play at right back and Skrtel in at centre back..time for big Martin to show that form of last season this sunday.

Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon is expected to lose his race to be fit for Sunday's Premier League clash against Liverpool at Anfield.


Lennon picked up a groin injury in the win over West Ham and boss Harry Redknapp initially expected the England international to be out for a "couple of weeks" but it is understood Spurs are planning to be without him for their trip to Anfield.

Spurs boss Redknapp could field Croatia pair Niko Kranjcar and Luka Modric on opposite flanks, as he did in the FA Cup clash against Peterborough on Saturday.

Wales left-back Gareth Bale picked up a dead-leg during the win over Posh but should be fit for the weekend to deputise for Benoit Assou-Ekotto, who has a groin problem.

Bale is determined to build on his opportunity in the first team.

"We've all been working hard in training to keep our fitness levels up so when we do come into the team, we're able to cope," Bale said. "It's nice to get back into the team and I just want to play as well as I can and stay in there. It's a big month, every game will be difficult but hopefully we'll stay in this form and keep winning."
