Is it? More heavy snow is forecast for the weekend, particularly Sunday so getting to the game would be pretty difficult. I'm sure we're not going to be the only Premier League side who get the game postponed.

I was looking forward to it too. A weekend without booze, and now without football. Great!
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

it is a joke if it's called of due to the surrounding areas and the pitch is playable

            Exactly.

The met office is forecasting heavy snow on Saturday night/Sunday and it's bound to affect games. Add to that the fact that this snow is going to pile on from what is already ice.

At least it gives us time to get Maxi settled, and longer recovery time for our injured players.

It could be a hindrance to supporters, people travelling mate. Ice is ****ing dangerous to drive on, could cause massive problems.

The point being that if they don't feel people can get there safely then it's the right decision.

Haha the cynical side of me wondered if that was in anyway involved in our thinking

Probably benefits Spurs injury/missing wise more. Their player of the season will be back and I assume it'll be after the African nations so Assou Ekotto will be back for the hapless Gareth Bale.

Yep because 45,000 people going thru ice and snow isnt a risk at all is it?

Aye, that was my first reaction, not to mention Mascherano's suspension up after Reading

Eh? 45k people walking all over ice, slush and snow is a perfectly valid reason to call it off. Not to mention all the people travelling from all over the place, including 3000 Spurs supporters.
