Last night was his first game back since August - makes scoring a hattrick even more impressive.

dalle valle was sensational last night. He had 3 chances and stuck 3 in the back of the net. His finishing reminds me of robbie fowler and one of the liverpool academy coaches said that he was the most natural finisher he had ever seen at the club.

Ngoo looks a real prospect too. He is tall and gangly like crouchie but he also has a bucket load of pace which crouch didnt have. If he can keep developping he will be a right player for us given that he's only 16 or something.

Add to that Ince and buchtmann who also look very skillful. I was also really impressed with wisdom at the back. He looks very commanding for a young player and has pace and power. I hope we can turn him into the next ferdinand as opposed to the next titus bramble.

The lad robinson at left back looks a good athelete but I was disappointed with our midfield because in the first 25 mins, despite the fact that we were 3 up they couldnt get hold of the ball and link up with the attacking players.

Although credit has to go to leicester who will still be wondering how on earth the first half finished with them 4 down.

    Some really decent players there.

Hope the same happens with Dalla Valle but we know Rafa doesnt like to rush players.
He does train with the reserves, it's just that he plays his competitive games for the U18s as he's still eligible and there are a whole load of strikers in the reserves. Mcmahon said a few months ago that second half of the season LDV would play reserves games (though I'm sure he'll continue to play in the youth cup team).

He's a great finisher. But like Nemeth in his first season, he doesn't add much to the build up, he'll definitely need to improve on that.

This Dalla Valle kid really does look like something special. Hopefully we do are utmost to keep him happy here. There were rumblings that he wanted to leave because he was told he'd be playing reserves, and has only been in the U18's.

I think its pretty obvious he's good enough for reserve level.

The U18s have actually been pretty dire this year. Last years team was much more Arsenal-esque. Alas they insisted on including Joe Kennedy in the defence.

Borrell really has got us playing some Arsenal-esque football. Great to see Liverpool players keeping it on the deck and trying the one twos even though some don't come off. Looked like men against boys and not because of our strength.

Just watching it now, Michael Roberts is a fantastic passer of the ball.
