I've purposely only posted comments here and it seems that there are a few who persist in being abusive towards me for not agreeing with them, so I'm left with little option .....

harv, you're a cunt, you say that people are entitled to opinions and are unwilling to let others have theirs

    rix007, you're a cunt, who's following a cunt in harv

I think that's classed as whinging, In which case, you've posted in the wrong thread.

I'd actually call it retaliation but each to their own

They have a tremendous influence on the dressing room, and not in a good way IMO. With the money those two, along with the other dross generate we could rebuild.

Drastic indeed, but IMO something drastic needs to be done....otherwise we will carry on in this fashion with th next muppet that takes over.
I'd deffo sell Gerrard. The moody sod has been disastrous this season.

Luckily in our case, we can get it cleared via more conventional methods.

So aside from this, and bearing in mind our fans are attending games, cheering the team on and doing pretty much all they can as fans in the stands, what arent Liverpool supporters doing, that makes you wonder about the spirit?

To me, it's natural that fans will be down and feeling negative, i cant imagine anyone who's genuinely upbeat about our situation but surely this is simply normal human emotion and a pretty usual way to feel, given what's going on.

I'm not sure that this natural human reaction makes anyone a lesser fan.

If you're more on about people, for example, perhaps wanting a change in management - then they're only feeling that way, because they obviously feel the fortunes of the club would improve via a change.

I think it boils down to simply whether people think our fortunes will change under the current manager - or whether a new one is needed to guide us forward into the future. Regardless of whether someone sits on one side of that argument or the other, their status as a 'real fan' isnt under scrutiny for me.

I'm not all that keen on people going on the radio etc and slagging off the team, that should be kept in-house IMO, and there's nothing to be gained by giving the media vultures what they want.

But amongst ourselves, discussion is fine and neither those who want the manager to stay, nor those who want a change, are any lesser of a fan, for feeling as they do.

Gerrard has the potential to find his world class form again, would be madness to sell.

Would be horrendous, players like Gerrard and Torres are the reason other decent players will want to join us....in the event we have any cash to buy them obviously.

                          Players performances this season

Just reflecting on this season. Basically we only have 2 players in the current squad who are performing to the best of their ability this season.

                          Pepe and Lucas

A few have show some glimpses of what they can do

                          Torres, Gerrard, Yossi and Mascherano

Basically everybody else has completely underperformed.

                          Why?

WHY ? why this why that, it's what i'm asking too, why did this do that, why doesn't he do that...he used to all the time, why does he look half the player, why does Lucas look double the player, why did that beach ball get involved, why did those jokers cut 20mill from the budget pre season, why did madrid go and have a huge spend this season of all seasons, why are the media all ****s, why so many ****in injuries early in the season, why so many injuries to main players now, why do we always seem to get punished for our mistakes this season, why is Babel, why the hell did we get bought by those two, why do some fans think it's as simple as just "Rafa's fault", why do others think it's not, why do i ask so many ****in questions.

                            Why ? I don't know.
                            someone might though.

I think our CAPTAIN has a lot to do with it.

I really believe he has such an influential sway and I don't get the feeling that him and Rafa are singing from the same sheet at the moment.

Gerrard is key to all those having a decent game due to the roles they play.

I hate to say this but if Gerrard was out of the team for a short while, we may see a few improvements and that will be because the players will realise that we cannot be dependant on one person..

They will have to raise their game without living in fear of either not passing to him or playing a **** pass to him.

I strongly agree with this, yet it doesnt seem to be easy on my sense of logic, to consider dropping him

But yes, when Torres and especially SG arent playing, the other players seem to be more inclined to actually do things themselves and take the burden of responsibility, rather than just giving it to Gerrard and then switching off, while expecting him to do something.

It's has a bit of the whole 'big kid in the playground' feeling about it.
