Lennon is much improved, notably his crossing. He whips some wicked balls into that 'corridor of uncertainty'

Lennon bombing forward could leave us plenty of space down their left, and I think Riera could well be back in the side to hopefully exploit said space, with Aurelio preferred to Insua at LB.

With Riera and Aurelio on the left I think we can put out quite a solid team, providing Agger is fit I'd like to see.

        Reina

        Carra - Skrtel - Agger - Aurelio

        Maxi - Lucas - Mascher-Riera

        Kuyt - NGog

        Subs. Cava-Sotiris-Pacheco-Babel-Aquilani et al.
        * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I have a hunch Aquialni may play the Gerrard role, just off Kuyt, allowing Lucas and Mascher to start in CM. The formation could then adapt very easily to 5 in midfield, giving us more control of the game hopefully. I really fancy us to win this one.

Isn't Lucas suspended after picking up the yellow on Saturday?

Just looked here and doesn't look like he is (suprisingly few players suspended).

Could of swore I heard the commentator on Saturday say the yellow meant he picked up a suspension.

no - i think the date has passed for 5 bookings to count as a suspension and it's now 10!

I thought the 'amnesty' time for that was 1st Feb.

That's how I'd go. Maxi right, Riera left, Lucas/Mash and Aquilani off Dirk.

                    Lucas isn't suspended.

Stop that, stop that now. Was that a Peacockism or Brightism, I can never remember.

It was a Boycottism, actually. A cricketing term.

I like some of their banner ideas:

                                RAFA: YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE
                                FACT

Be boss if the Kop just stood up, with a big **** off banner on the front, saying: 'if you want him, you have to get through us'

IF ITS BROKE..OTHER CLUBS THROW IT OUT
