Is Agger fit for this? I'm also not keen on Kuyt up top on his own but I think he's slightly better than Ngog in that role, just about, sadly. Hopefully we'll see;

But with injuries, Maxi only being here a week, and Riera just coming back, then it could well be something like;

... or perhaps the same back line as Saturday and Degen on the right in place of Maxi, which would be a shame.

Did you also forget that Maxi has only played 15 minutes of competitive football in near a month and has only been at the club for a week, so mightn’t be match fit yet? That Aqualini is still recovering from a long term injury and is still a long way off full fitness?

Like most supporters I’d also like to see both start, but if they don’t I’m willing to accept the circumstances and not buy into this Rafa is too negative crap. Although not his fault, Aqualini hasn’t added too much to the team when he’s started, and Maxi looked well off the pace in his short cameo in Saturday, so I certainly won’t be too devastated if they don’t start (although I do think one of them will).
