No, he cannot tackle, that is why he gets so many red and yellow cards,silly little fouls, although yesterday's decision to book him instead of awarding us a penalty was an absolute disgrace, is it me or are the latest bunch of premiership refs the worst by a country mile?

hes' had about 2 red cards and think hes just got his first suspension in a team playing very poorly so its not that bad, especially as he shoudnt of been bookjed on sat anyway

unfortunately I have to agree with Harv on this one, in real time it looked like he was down and claiming far too early and then the replays made me think the same, he's not as good as Gerrard at diving, needs more practice

I think you need to go back and recheck your tv screen, cos Lucas was cleaned out by Higgenbotham. It's as clear cut a penalty as you'd like, and if the FA had any gumption that Lee Mason cunt would be stripped of his refereeing status and sent back to Sunday league football.

No, he really couldn't. He doesn't have the discipline nor the same ability with the ball. Also, although Lucas is hardly Mr T he's twice as strong as Spearing and three times as hard in the tackle.

He's played like 5 first team games. Lucas has played 100 odd and has played for the Brazil national team. No comparison really.

Thought Lucas was one of our best players Saturday along with Kyrgiakos.
He's also not really a defensive midfielder iirc but plays as one.
Wasnt he supposed to be more of an attacking midfielder?
He just needs to add goals to his game but the lad is trying and should get a lot more backing than he currently does by certain fans.
I have a feeling that 2010/11 we will see an even better Lucas imo.

I wish people would give the lad a break, he's probably been our best player this season, admittedly others have under performed, but that's not his fault. He takes stick on here whether he deserves it or not, which is totally out of order.
