    I never said that

You accused me a week or two back of putting words into your word, bit hypocritical.

You slag Gerrard off all the time, and i think it's pretty lame. Attention seeking, WUMery or just general misguided analysis, either way, it's nonsensical.

Looks like vonk didnt think your post was very helpful either.

Have him start on the bench and bring him on if needs be rather than rush him back from yet another injury.
We deservedly beat Spurs at home without him, Aquilani had his best game for us so far (imo) christ even Dirk scored a couple so let them go again in the same positions.
I'd personally move Degan to RB and Carra to CB and start Maxi RM but that would be my only change
Exactly how I'd go, although neither Kyrgiakos or Skrtel deserve to be left out.

MICK McCarthy is ready to go to battle with fighter Rafa Benitez as the pair scrap to keep their jobs.

Wolves boss McCarthy is a fan of the Spaniard’s volatile style and willingness to face up to his critics head on.

And he will be doing the same against Liverpool at Molineux as he looks to pile the misery on Benitez tonight and ease some of the relegation pressure on himself.

The former Republic of Ireland boss has seen the flak Benitez has had to deal with this season because of all the struggles at Anfield.

But he insists the Kop boss has never ducked the fight, saying: “He goes to war on it. He says things and takes people on. I’m cool with however managers do it. The spotlight and pressure come with the job. It’s another part you have to deal with."

“So long as they don’t incorporate me in that and they keep their nose out of my business, fine.”

That was a thinly-veiled dig at Arsene Wenger in the wake of Arsenal’s FA Cup defeat against Stoke. Wenger paid the price for fielding a weakened team, just weeks after he blasted McCarthy’s decision to make 10 changes for Wolves’ game at Old Trafford.

“Perhaps he realised that he had a more important Premier League game coming up,” said McCarthy.

No it's not on mate, Sky have the Fulham, Spurs game instead.

At least you can all gather round the radio, beers in hand.

I'm guessing this is from the usual sources. If so their record has been poor of late.

I'm not usually one for moaning about team selections, but if that is true I'm somewhat disappointed that neither Maxi or Aquilani are starting.

Maxi not so much as he is new but Aquilani I certainly expected to see start.

Agreed, I just figured if we are going to continue with Kuyt up front, then it seems a good opportunity to start Maxi on the right, especially against the likes of Wolves.

Oh well, in Rafa I trust
