He's linked all the time via his agent with different managers

We havent won a thing for years

He's spent a fortune on talent young and old

Only a handful of his signings have been decent

We have shown no real signs of improvement over 5 years other then GHs team that the champions league with Xabi and Luis

We are now (it seems) happy to grind out a result against Stoke...

Can someone please provide compelling evidence why Rafa should be allowed to stay.

As far as I can see when we were with houllier we were above the likes of spurs and villa.

Now we are fighting with them.

Sorry but is this really the mamnager we want.

Have you ever stopped to think you might be wrong FFS? The people at Juventus, Real and other massive clubs want him to work for them because he's a ****ing good manager FFS. They can see, as anyone with half a brain can see, that he has NOT spent "a fortune", done a good job on the whole for us and is a top class manager. It's simple.

Also your point about Houllier is balls. Every season under him, bar one, we were fighting like mad for 4th. It was the sole objective.

Rafa has never, ever finished behind Spurs or Villa and under his management 4th has been a given (first season apart). The reason everyone's up in arms now is because he's raised expectations so massively, and now we find ourselves in a scrap for 4th everyone's shocked and disappointed. What are you talking about?

he has been here 5 years....if he bought a 17yr old on the day he was hired, they would still only be 22, also just taken control of yoof academy.....I think Rafa's legacy will be pretty awesome actually.

its weirs how many people rate benitez up and down the land, maybe just maybe he is a good manager after all......Success of the field breeds success on it.....

Blackburn, leeds( well they thought it was good), city, liverpool(once) chelsea, arsenal, scum..........all got it right in the boardroom and that projects onto the pitch.
Until upstairs is sorted out i dont think anyone in the world could come in and get us premiership champs...,

Massive divide between fans at the minute, its amazing.

I'm actually after falling out with my uncle and my cousin(not father and son) over Liverpool. I have never seen such a difference in opinion, its astonishing.

The thing is that the owners seem to have got a free ride on the back of Lucas and Rafa both of which seem to be the main bones of contention.

Funny thing is the trend points towards a group who support Rafa, Lucas and cant stand Babel to a group those that are the total opposite ie Rafas time is up, Lucas is rubbish and Babel is quality.

It's rare for many managers to leave clubs on good terms. LFC have been lucky in that respect. Spoiled, even. It's not the norm.
