We need continuity to be successful, not sacking every manager after 5 years. We're 'scrapping out' draws against Stoke because we're still trying to go out of that rut and the team is still building confidence. After having conceded so many goals Rafa have gone back to basics by sorting out the defence first. Next step is to build on that confidence and try to be more positive.

We have to take things with a little bit of relativity too, with the likes of Man. City with their spending power is going to make things more difficult in the transfer market. If you can't compete with the best players season in season out, you're going to struggle long term. The only players who could have really improved our team this season were David Villa and another versatile right/left sided forward, maybe David Silva. Both those players would have cost a fortune.

It's more difficult to improve a team as good as ours, as there's only a select few players who could fit in our team. We need money to progress to that next step and Rafa's job is all the more difficult that we haven't got any.
