Kuyt just can't get on end of Gerrards free kick, full time whistle goes.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

He's had a great game today.
A bit like Johnson in his attacking role.

3 points is 3 points. Six games undefeated in the League now?!

A better performance from us today, we created quite a few chances and could have won by more. But it's a much needed 3 points

Fantastic to see Gerrard with his hunger back. Maybe not his best performance ever, but his better side.

The Greek looking like he needs a permanent promotion to the first team but, fantastic

Insua played really well going forward in the second half, very lively
Kyrgiakos was solid as **** at the back, great game for him.
Lucas was excellent when he came on
And Gerrard looked really lively at points, especially late on.

Apart from a couple of dodgy misses and one or two players who didn't really impress (Aquilani, Ngog), that was a decent, effective performance. Unspectacular, but definitely a real improvement from midweek.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
                Mine angry and defrauded young?

                  He's big
                  He's Greek
                  He's a defending superfreak

                  Kyrgiakos!!!
When a true genius appears in the world, you may know him by this sign, that the dunces are all in confederacy against him

Fully agree thanks for saving me some typing plus Masher has his best game for a while

                      Everyone was bar Aquilani sadly.

                        Kyrgiakos!!!

Absolute bargain of the year at £1.5 mill

Ngog needs to rely on instinct more, hesitancy cost him a few good opportunities and us the chance to relax and let us play more like we did in the last 10 minutes.

Yep defo good for our confidence that win.

Mashers passing was absolutely top class today, all game.
                            Insua's crossing was class.
I think that's the liveliest and most "on" I've seen Stevie for months, perhaps all season.
Aquilani's confidence still needs building and his passing was over hit or wayward especially early on, but other than scoring, that nice header back to set up kuyt, is the best thing he could have got from that game.
He'l feel he played a part and will start to settle more hopefully.
Krygiakos, for games against bolton etc, is proving really useful, well worth 2m quid!

In summary, most enjoyable game I've sat through in a while, especially towards end.
AND brum equalised in last minute, so spurs drop 2 points
