          Dave Bassett? Bryan Robson?
          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

And why should we "take away the night in Istanbul"? WTF is he on about? I suspect even he has no idea.
I wouldn't have expected much less from an inhabitant of our angriest colony. You would have thought that, coming from a community of dudes that actually take pride in strutting about in skirts, a bit more of an openminded attitude might have been forthcoming. I suppose that's what happens when you have a bottle of Buckfast for your breakfast though.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

What a shambolic list. We would be better off with this Brit

Rafa Benitez should not have been sacked but there are other good managers around, managers who can give the team a boost as things seemed to be going stale last season. Whether Rafa could have turned this around is anyone's guess but he deserved the chance.

As for the owners, I think it's quite clear the club's looking for new owners and this might resolve itself during the summer.

                    So I wouldn't necassirily say we're ****ed.

That's even more intriguing. Do you have any info on whether that mean Dalglish:
Had concluded Rafa needed to go and whether he was behind any decision last year to limit funds for Rafa?
Is on side with the hierarchy including owners?

I can see Thomspon being approached for discussions

wouldn't be too displeased with Hodgson, he's done well with all his international teams so knows how to get the best out of players and he had the odd big player to control, you could say he's punched above his weight with Fulham but there are a few who said the same when about Benitez after Istanbul, although obviously not Liverpool fans

redknapp can **** right off and if o'neill comes I'm giving up on footy

We can all concoct a plausible enough story here. I reckon Dalglish deserves our respect of playing it by the book and not politicking against Rafa until proved otherwise.
