i think some managers who would have taken the job even at christmas would now take a wait and see attitude and they'd be dead right. we're becoming a longer shot to stay in touch with the CL places and it's all going to come down to money. there is way too much uncertainty around us at the moment for a lot of managers to take us on.

Martin O'Neill would probably be my choice but I suspect in the morning I'll probably want to give Rafa another chance.

Would be delighed, but I don't think he'd come. And I don't think we'd be taking our pick of top managers either. The outlook for us is pretty bleak.

Anyway, can anyone see Rafa walking, because I don't think he'll be sacked? Owners don't have the backing to make such a decision. The SOS monkey's would kick up an absolute stink for a start.
