I think it's harsh to criticise posters who put their head above the parrot pit.
Some posters have called players that have come good, some posters have called players that have turned out to be bad ... what we have learnt is that none of us consistently get it right. Unless you're name is Arn and then you're spectacularly wrong on a consistent basis.
Love you, Arn.

Of course no one is consistently right about the future, but some are fairly consistently wrong. And that's not random.Originally posted by Muddled View PostI think it's harsh to criticise posters who put their heard above the parrot pit.

The fact is that most people get things right more often when they actually have relevant knowledge, expertise or experience of the matter in hand.
But maybe I'm alone in finding a litany of uninformed guesses tedious to read.
.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

It most certainly is.
I was in the 'Sturridge Can Do Nothing' camp too.
Great minds, Gee ... kinda.
I can't take the credit, that's pure Duncan Jenkins right there.Originally posted by Assassin View Post

Well, my first post in this thread.
It was stupid, idiotic, laughable to replace Rafa with Roy.
At that time I was in the Pellegrini camp by the way. I thought then and I still think that Roy is an arrogant piece of sh*t.
I don't think the pieces of sh*t enjoys being mentioned together with Roy.
That is all really.Stop the cyberhate

Hmmn, I find it hard to believe anyone thought of Roy as an 'arrogant piece of ****'.
Sure, people might have questioned his ability, but I'd guess the majority of us looking from the outside in, thought of Roy as a 'nice guy'. Or certainly, that's the image I - and most of my football mates - thought. It's only when we've had the chance to see him close at hand, that we realised he was actually a div.
Or perhaps I'm just naive.
