With every passing bull**** performance my standards of replacement are plumeting. I'm down to Tony Pulis now. This time next week after we bomb out of the second best club competition in Europe I'm moving down to lawrie sanchez.

I wasn't saying Kenny is the right bloke. But it was more in response to your post as to why would anyone want him just because he was a past player and legend but you forgot to add the bit about him winning countless trophies as our manager. Yes it was years ago, still happened though.
I would throw Steve Nicol's name in the ring. He knows this club inside out. Thats important. He would have the support of most fans from day one. He might not be able to out chess rafa in certain games but if he got us playing the liverpool way and playing to peoples strengths I'm sure he'd do well.
It would give the place a lift.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

I just want a manager to ****ing entertain me again. I am a fairly busy family man and try to keep the football watching confined to my own team which basically means watching ****e every week. I watched the ars-barca game the other night and man it was great to see two teams play good football and have a go at each other.
I wish rafa would just go off and become a chess grandmaster or something and leave us to fall back in love with our team under a manager who places more emphasis on attacking football.

Saw this on another forum as to weather Jose would want to come here without CL football next season.
Remember Mourinho wanted the Liverpool job and we decided not to offer it to him. In 2004, he was known to prefer taking on the challenge of Liverpool, where he would be seen as the man to lead the club back to former glories, much like Ferguson when he took over at Manchester United in 1986. Of course we decided not to offer him the job.....
The man loves a challenge. He won the Champions League with Porto when they were massive underdogs, created a dynasty at Chelsea and he chose to join Inter because he wants to win the Champions League with the sleeping giant in terms of European football.
Liverpool hasn’t won the league for 19 years. When Mourinho went to Chelsea they hadn’t won the league for a lot longer. Our club doesn’t know how to win the title much the same as Chelsea pre-Mourinho. The Portuguese manage ta

He has always spoke highly of us, if we offered him the job i think he would take it no question about it.
Its all about having the money to offer him the job - we would need the money for compensation in benitez, unless someone came and took him off our hands but you cannot rely on that. We would then need money for the wages of Jose - reportedly when we were tracking Klinsmann we ad an £8m per year salary lined up; if jose is on £9m then there is not much difference.
Personally, i think the yanks are too scared to sack rafa now. they are hated as it is and they dont want to do anything else too rash to anger the fans more, as there are some fans (Petebest and co) who still want rafa at the helm.

Can't remember where I saw it, it was months ago. I don't expect him to go back on his word. The only way we'll get a new manager is if Rafa ****s off.
