You name me one manager who would attack Barcelona and play right into their hands.

Mourinho got his tactics spot on.
Rafa went on to beat Madrid on their own turf and WON the CL. Please stop cock sucking Mourihno, that is just sick for a Liverpool supporter.

By cock sucking you mean admiring his defensive tactics and how well Inter played over two legs?

We are not talking about rafa as well, why do you bring him into this? Just because i like Mourinho does not mean i hate rafa, so please refrain from criticising Jose after a great result last night over the two legs Inter were great and deserved to go through, imo obviously.

Here is my opinion for what it is worth.

Morinho is tactically very effective but not very pretty.

        Rafa try´s to be both.

I also think Rafa is tactically better then Morinho.

Having said that, Morinho is probably the best bet if Rafa leaves in terms of success

ps. Morinho is not right for LFC in that he is a cunt.

          Wenger

Fredo would rather lose 4-1. He prefer defeats and failure, that's why he backs Rafa to the hilt.

When i'm looking for a manager to invite round for dinner, i'll pick Rafa. If i want a manager to win football matches and take my team to success, i'd opt for Mourinho every single time.

Well, some of us care about the Liverpool way. And Morinho is about as far from that as one can imagine.

How much of the Liverpool Way remains now then, do you think? American owners? Spanish backroom staff? Boring negative football?

Is 18 defeats in one season also part of the Liverpool way?

How about humiliation and finishing 7th?

I live far away so maybe I don´t know. But none of that has anything to do with the Liverpool way as far as I´m concerned.

It has to do with dignity, class, respect, fair play, community and wanting and trying to be the best. But not at any cost. When things go bad we stick together. We have patience. We see things clearly and don´t do knee jerk reactions. This is why I love this club, not because it is successful.

Sadly we are also a club who last season booed our team drawing a game at home despite the fact that it took us top and booed one of our own players for not being as good as Alonso.

                        Oh yeah?

Did we defend when we went to Madrid and won last year? Mourihno set out their tactics to defend, played a central defender at left wing (which I've never seen Rafa do) and opted to use his intimidating tactics to upset Barca.

There has never a match under Rafa where we'd be playing with 10 defenders and have 0 shots on goal. Never. You'd say he was entitled to do that because he had the advantage of the first leg but Rafa's never done that even when we were 1-0 in front for that return leg against Madrid. We went all out for the attack and trounced them 4-0. I'm sure he'd have done the same if the opposition was Barca.

We've struggled with confidence all season and that's why we've never been able to be efficient away from home. Our away record last season shows that Rafa isn't defensive at all.

It's been a bad season and no one is disputing that. It seems you think that Rafa doesn't have a winning mindset but you're as ever far from the truth. You're the type of guy who I could see slitting his wrists just because he's been 'humiliated'once.

The team has been a failure this season and I expect Rafa to react like a wounded animal and settle the score next season providing he gets the backing of a forward thinking board. That's being progressive. We won't get a top manager under the current constraints as I still don't see the Americans selling the club any time soon. Six months will take us into next season and I expect a stop gap manager ala Roy Hodgson to take us into it, meaning it's going to be another season of transition.

If this happens, I can see this club declining further. Rafa never had a fair crack of the whip but we still competed very well, outsmarting Arsenal and Wenger for most seasons.

Don't agree with this Pete i'm afraid, Craig has been humiliated many times on here, and he's still with us.
