i really don't know or care - just someone who can get the players fired up, can bring some fresh ideas, and give us some decent football.

It's not just the manager though - the whole club needs a complete overhaul, new owners, new management, new squad, new ground and start again fresh

short term though slaven bilic isn't a bad shout,
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

          JOSE JOSE JOSE

i want mourinho here. he is the only man out there i reckon would get us back to being a big club and winning the league again.

i would go for mourinho but hiddink would have been my preference.

However, I dont for one second think that rafa will go even though he probably needs to. The type of team we are and the type of football we are playing at the moment tells its own story.

Last night was yet another 'god that's gotta be the worst performance of the season, no fight, no bottle, no creativity, movement or incisive passing'

That's been said a lot recently and its down to rafa. Its his tactics and they are his players.

We are just too easy to play against. We have no pace on any flank, our wide men are just defenders covering the full backs, our midfielders cant pick any sort of pass at all and as a team our movement is really poor.

Any opposing team must look forward to playing against us because they know the threat only comes from 2 players gerrard and torres that are well marshalled by the centre backs and the defensive midfielders. The rest of liverpools team cant run past you, they cant beat you with a trick, all the passing is infront on you and they will never turn you towards your own goal with any sort of ball over the top. opposing teams love playing against **** like this because they can pressure the ball knowing full well that 9 times out of 10 liverpool will lose the ball because they dont have the players to work their way out of pressurised situations.

Its all far to easy for other teams. Its only the genius of torres and gerrard that get us any fekkin results.

We need a huge clear out in the summer and it should start with the manager but it clearly wont. did anyone see the real madrid sevilla match on saturday ?

Madrid played some unbelievable football and their passing and movement was electric and i was ashamed to admit that i actually enjoyed watching those ****ers.

He isn't though. He's got a proven track record in the division with Leicester and Aston Villa and is probably the only manager outside the so-called top 4 who would be up to the task of managing one of those sides.

He's also completely different to Rafa and I imagine he'd be able to energise the team.

And yet 12 months ago we absolutely tore them apart.

I think if we'd have all seen what was to come, none of us would've believed it. Major head****. How has it come to this?

did you see their movement shaggy ?

**** me they were unbelievable. Sevilla who are normally a side that noone wants to play where totally dominated from start to finish by a rampant real madrid. they created chance after chance and it could have finished 6 or seven they were that good.

12 months ago they were where we are now. Im not sure where we'll be 12 months from now but if rafa's in charge it wont be anywhere near that level.

The other thing shag is that they probably learned from that defeat as a club but we dont seem to take anything from our defeats. Its just more of the same but worse,

Jose is the only manager we will consider, should RAFA go.

& i think he would be fantastic for us

Yeah, but they did spend £200m+ to get there. We have too many **** players.

Really wish people would **** off with this ****. Like he'll get the £200m he had to spend at the Chavs here.

i agree that its partly to do with the money spent but its also about getting the balance of the team right and they seem to have found that.

I also agree that we have far too many players who are technically rubbish, have very little physical presence or can score goals. We are a two man team like we were in the days of houllier.

But if you gave this squad to pellegrini im certain we would start to play some decent football and actually try and attack. Its as much about the managers philosophy as about the players we have.

Even mourinho would do a decent job with the players we have.

Personally, I think he would get more out of current squad that Rafa is or will. Don't think he'd walk the league without massice amounts of money available. But it would be more realistic a target.
