If you realise that the loss of alonso was so crucial, why dont you see that his loss was down to the manager pissing him off?

For once and for all - it's the manager's role to get the team performing well. If they're out of form, drop them. If there arent good enough replacements, that's his fault. He signed the players who arent good enough .
Did Alonso tell you he was 'pissed off'? Alonso said in an interview not so long ago that he had nothing against Rafa. Stop making assumptions Craig. Any other manager wouldn't have done much better than Rafa under the same circumstances. He's always had to look out for bargain deals to sign players, some have worked some haven't but he's done brilliantly with what he's got. Spending £18m on average every season and making us a competitive team is no mean feat. Look at Spurs, they've spent around the same money but they were **** all the time.

Alonso said publicly, that the thing which got him thinking that it was time to leave, was the Rafa/Barry issue. I heard him say it myself, no assumptions there. You can wear a blindfold if you want mate, but most of us have our eyes and ears open.

I cant believe you think potentially finishing 7th is 'brilliant' i dont know whether to laugh or cry.

      I'll just go to bed.

        Obviously I would want Mourinho.

But, the realistic, safe yet rather interesting option is Hodgson.

Where did I say finishing 7th was brilliant? **** off mate. If Rafa was sacked and Sam Allardyce was appointed as manager, I wouldn't give a flying **** as it is, so pissed off with all things LFC at the moment.

You said he's doing brilliantly - we're on course to finish 7th.

I know you wouldnt give a ****, because you support Rafa and not LFC. If you think rafa's doing well and everything's fine, what is there to be pissed off about? The biggest irony, is that most of what you're pissed off with, has happened at the hands of rafa. Yet, you still back him, come what may.

I've asked you before, what would have to happen for you to want a different manager, and you told me that you would never want a different manager, literally whatever happened. That says it all.

Mourihno is a boring cunt. His teams are even more robotic and negative that Rafa's, only difference is that he is a bit of an arse licker and always ends up with owners having loads of dosh, which doesn't seem to tarnish his reputation as he's got all the tools at hand to create a good team.

Fact is, Rafa has always owned him CL wise. He's still pissed off for it probably.

Yes, that's why I was probably supporting Liverpool as a kid back in 1980 and you were probably still germinating in your mothers womb.

I was born in the 70s, you tool Germinating, indeed.

I dont believe what you said about 1980, for what it's worth. But neither of us can prove or disprove it, so it's an irrelevant point. And i was talking about now anyway, not 1980. As of NOW, you support Rafa, not Liverpool.

Really am going to sleep now

Whatever suits your argument. We need a miracle worker by the looks of it and I can't see anyone doing that kind of job. I just can't believe I always get embroiled with these kind of pointless arguments with you. I should be doing some work.

                    Goodnight.

Were his teams boring when they trounced us time after time in the league?

The notion that his teams are boring is one of the biggest fallacies going around.

Our CL battles mostly ended in dull draws did they not??

Mourihno's teams are boring and the dull draws prove this point. He was the one who devised a system whereby Ballack was played at right midfield. He had 4 central midfielders in his team, Lampard, Ballack, Mickel and Deco, all in a mish mash of a formation.

Yes he was successful because he had the money to buy all the best players. Drogba, Ballack, Deco, Carvalho etc ... Rafa outwitted him with a team worth a fraction of Chelsea's.

And Mourihno's constant baiting and winding up of other managers, officials and the likes is dull as **** now. He should change his record a bit.

Also Mourinho 1 CL title, 1 Uefa cup, 5 league titles (6 if you count this years Serie A title, which is basically a formality), 1 FA Cup, 5 league cups collectively and an unbeaten home streak which goes back to his time at Porto in 2002. 8 years, unbeaten. 8 YEARS!

Rafa 1 CL (thanks to Gerrard), 1 Uefa cup, 2 league titles (both with a team that Hector Cuper mainly put together and took to 2 CL finals) and a FA cup (thanks to Gerrard)

You may not like Jose, but to label him as a **** manager is quite simply deluded. He is the best young manager going around. He adapts to any situation, he gets the maximum out of all his players. He gets them fired up and motivated to win at all costs.

Rafa is the polar opposite. He has his ideology...and he sticks to it rain, hail or shine. He won't budge for anyone, and it seems the more people push him, the more he holds his ground. Its an admirable quality to have in every day life, but you simply can't be so ridged in football.

the best part about mourinho coming here would be reading the leaked lfc behavior manual.

You think Mourinho was the reason for our dull draws It was Rafa that caused that man. He knew we would be torn to shreds if we tried to play against them. So he played to stifle them, and thats Rafa at his best. Restricting others from playing football.

4 central mids? Maybe in the final seasons (where he was not allowed to sign the players he really wanted, instead forced to sign Shevchenko). But early on he had a combination of Robben, Cole, Duff and Kalou playing out there.

Mourinho didn't sign Deco you fool

They are not playing for him any more, Pete. No amount of urging from Rafa is getting us out of this slump. How does he turn the loss of faith around. It's an impossible task unless he sells the entire first team.
