How arrogant it is to assume someone disagrees, just for the sake of it. It couldnt possibly be that your opinion just isnt gospel and that they just disagree with you, could they?
Yeah, it's really childish when someone uses that smiley isnt it?Nice use of the

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

i think you can call Masher world class.......Agger if he stayed fit for a season would definitely be to.Originally posted by anfieldanfield View PostI don't think you can call Masher or Agger world class._____________________________________

Hmmm, agree with the Agger comment. But he can't stay fit, can he ? Pretty sure he'll be injury prone his entire career.Originally posted by red g View Posti think you can call Masher world class.......Agger if he stayed fit for a season would definitely be to.
Re Mascherano....it's tricky. On his day, in the right circumstances and when he fancies it, he IS world class. But a lot the time he looks quite average.
Dunno. I'd say he's a shade under.

mascher could be absolutely world class if he could play a bit more football. sort his long passing and contribute to the goals, and there would be no doubt. couldn't believe he actually scored the other week.
best in the world at the thing he does best, but lacking in his all around game.dave of mutilation

but then playing devils advocate........you could turn it round and say Messi is not world class coz he doesnt get stuck in enough?Originally posted by little dave hedgehog View Postmascher could be absolutely world class if he could play a bit more football. sort his long passing and contribute to the goals, and there would be no doubt. couldn't believe he actually scored the other week.

if mascher could do that on anything like a regular basis, he would be tops. i'm not necessarily saying he isn't world class, but for a central midfielder, his skills at going forward aren't the best. messi is not a complete player either, but he does everything he needs to do in his position. mascher could do more if he's going to play where he does. not that i think he's in any way a bad player.
that being said, and i've said this before, and maybe will get some more flack for it, but if i were in charge, mascher would only play against the very best oposition, when we're trying to shut up shop and when our midfield was getting kicked up in the air.dave of mutilation

nope i can completely understanding yr reason and i can see your reasoning.....as messi in his postion is peerless. Whereas Masher is fantastic at waht he does but then you have the likes of essien who can do all that and moreOriginally posted by little dave hedgehog View Postif mascher could do that on anything like a regular basis, he would be tops. i'm not necessarily saying he isn't world class, but for a central midfielder, his skills at going forward aren't the best. messi is not a complete player either, but he does everything he needs to do in his position. mascher could do more if he's going to play where he does. not that i think he's in any way a bad player.
