If you think we will be able to replace Rafa with anyone who is A. better and B. Able to make us more successful, you are at best deluded or at worst plain stupid.

WTF? How the hell can you make such a statement? You have nothing to back it up with. Its totally subjective. No one knows what any other manager could do at our club given the same resources apart from of course the current man at the helm, Mr Benitez. We have the evidence of his success with our very own eyes.
Its fine having the view that Rafa is the best man for the job but its bollocks to knock others for thinking/hoping someone else could do a better job. Let us not forget those that wanted Houllier to stay on forever, yet they were quick to take to Rafa once the CL came home.

Exactly. Change scares people. Status quo is safe and steady.
Unfortunately, steady for us is 20 years without a league title and more to come. 5 years under Houllier and 6 under Rafa...let's not fix what's not broke.
Guillem: There`s more work with the ball here and less physical work than in England?
Arbeloa: Here, maybe the ball-work does dominate more than in England, where teams are very well prepared physically. But then with Rafa we did a lot of tactical work. While here, we enjoy ourselves with the ball a bit more.
Somtimes I wais Rafa would give our players a little more freedom, I think it would improve the team no end.

Wouldn't say that five managers over that 20 years is exactly status quo
