I'm pretty sure there are people (Purlslow chief amongst them) who want Rafa gone at the club. I think in general though their motivations are personal and financial and have little to do with the good of the club.

probably just a power struggle. Rafa has too much control over all matters in the club and purlsow wants a share i reckon.

rafa should share some of the power / authority he has over non football matters but i dont think purslow is the man to share it with.

I voted for Rafa to go if he didn't get 4th spot.

If he does commit to another season, I will be fully behind him next season, I just hope he changes his mindset and not be so stubborn with his tactics and decisions.

I think he'll be under even more pressure this time and I expect there will be a sacking before a resignation but I hope I'm proved wrong.

I think he should set up a data bank where every supporter can post their preferred tactics every week (depending on the team we're playing) so that he can put them in a draw and make one of us happy. That would be a win-win.

No particular idea. I would imagine the fact he keeps wanting transfer money and to keep the money we raise from player sales is on the list though. Perhaps they have just fallen out but he has been relentlessly leaking things to the press and giving comments which are clearly anti-Rafa.

i would think its more the control thing, any manager wants transfer budgets etc.

I don't think we have a transfer budget and I was more meaning the fact that Rafa will fight for it - I think they want a patsy who wouldn't embarrass them as they gut the club. Rafa might hold power on footballing issues but it is clear he has now power to authorise purchases and not even clear that money raised through sales would be reinvested.

in which case GO RAFA.

ANYONE who is hired to replace rafa will be on the condition / under the limitations that he is in effect this patsy.

no new manager will be given the control rafa has today. and if we want Purslow (G & H) in control of our transfer budget as opposed to the manager then that's a complete disaster
