Until we're bought, then in the absence of any other affordable contenders it has to be Kenny for me

If he's offered it, and he declines, then we'll know that he felt he wasn't up to it. By the same degree, if he accepts, then it shows he believes he can do it. And if he does, well that's good enough for me. I don't believe he's greedy or egotistical enough to take it regardless

I think we'll have new owners by the end of this year.
And I think King Kenneth Mathieson Dalglish will manage us up until the finances are in place to recruit, and sufficiently back the next long term manager
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

I really hope it's not Dalglish only as I don't want any failure to blemish the memories I have of him.

I assume the ownership won't change before the start of next season so we probably need a short term arrangement and there's no-one better for that than Hiddink in my mind.

Pellegrini for me. A bit of continuity insofar as the language and thus maintaining key relationships with our big hitters - Pepe, Nando and Mash - and gives us a better chance of continuity with many of the backroom staff and at the Academy. I like his brand of football, thought he did a good job both at Real Madrid and Villarreal. Pellegrini FTW

I heard 3 weeks ago a reliable rumour via a family member of one of the backroom staff at Anfield that there have been tensions between the Spanish contingent and others. The person tsaid that most wanted rid of the Spanish group. So wouldn't be surprised to see a few go.

At the same time the person said something was going on as they normally plan several weeks ahead but things had been put on hold. I hoped it meant new owners were on the way but sadly it was Rafa out. Suppose I should have put 2 and 2 together.

Can he speak English? If so, I'd say he would be a very good move.

Not questioning your info, nor having a go, but then why would Pepe have signed a long contract recently?

That's beyond fantasyland, under the current owners, i am sad to say.

King he maybe, Legend he maybe, but us winning the title, or even getting back into the CL with cunt and cunt at the helm, is asking for miracles.

well lets see, you may be pleasantly surprised. Craig as one of Rafa's biggest detractors last season are you not in least excited about todays events? Go on admit it. Don't be shy.

The comments didn't relate to the team but to the staff - though not Rafa. The person seemed to think that if you weren't in their group you didn't count. I don't rate the individual and discounted it partly as just xenophobia but even so it is obviously not everyone was pulling together.

Maybe Reina thinks he's a scouser now.
