I pray it's not true, nothing against Woy, but to me appointing him confirms we are nowhere near to selling the club, and the rumours we are are not true. No way would we be appointing him if we had rich owners on the way.
Would Roy be the least inspiring LFC managerial appointment in our history? Certainly in my lifetime he would be
So do I.
Don't particularly want him as manager though.
Exactly.
I always thought the FA were stupid to spend Millions on Erikson (and Capello) when they have such an internationally experienced manager available. And I am certain Woy would love to do the job.
However, I just can't picture him in charge at Anfield.
Unless of course, we all accept, that Liverpool will spend the 2010s somewhere midttable without aspiration. I am certain he will be able to save us from relegation alright.
I agree but in general I just want us to have a manager in place and starting to plan for next season. The uncertainty in all areas is getting me down and I think minimises our chances of getting off to a good start to the season which I think will be important and is losing us time for transfer negotiations.

I'm a little confused about why people are so down on Hodgson.
I know he isnt the exciting foreign type and he probably offers more stability and calmness, than flair. But he over achieved with Fulham and if he did the same with us, we're looking at a potential title challenge.
I've moved on now from Rafa and TBH, I do feel like a UK manager is the right choice. Especially one so continental in approach. The perfect balance for me.
People rate oneil as a manager to get the best out of this squad, well i'd always choose roy over him on the basis that he is tactically much more astute.
I think he'll surprise a lot on here and for the time being, he's a reasonable choice. we clearly need a man used to wringing the best out of a tight budget. no point hiring a big time manager who needs 80mill to spend when we dont have it is there
