Anyway for what it's worth I would have thought Benayoun at least would be ahead of Pacheco in the pecking order.

I really like the look of Pacheco but it's unfair to throw him in when we're in the ****, putting a load of pressure on him to perform.

Pacheco played way more time at Barcelona then he did here. Its actually pretty disgusting to not be using such a good player. If you dont play him he will not develop. He's good enough to play. Instead we got bloody Ngog playing often.

Where have I said no one can criticise the manager? Me making a simple comment that I'd like to see a particular player start, suddenly becomes an opportunity for you to have a little one line dig at Rafa. I'm not even saying your point isn't valid for Jesus not everything has to become a pro/anti Rafa debate. That's my whole point - it's taken over this forum and it's boring as hell. This isn't particularly aimed at you by the way, (there are worse culprits on both sides of the Rafa fence) just my general frustration on the whole tone of the football forums at the moment.

I'm not sure Pacheco is an out and out striker though, so comparing him with N'Gog and their respective playing time is a bit unfair.

torres out and ngog being **** means babel should be given the nod up top but wont happen. unfortunately we wont see pacheco either so europa league rests on ngog.......we're ****ed!!

He did play for them in a few league games at least. I remember watching him on tv probably a handful of times. He was always so lively and zipping around all over the place in an advanced attacking midfield position. He doesnt need to be in the box to score, he can bringing the ball from either side and go for it. He's a brilliant little player but here he's just so constricted in his play style every time I watch him. Its certainly doing his skill level massive amounts of harm.

If Barca (he'd suit them perfectly) were to come in for him in the summer with a huge bid, I think he'd probably want the move. To be honest, for Barca at least, I couldnt blame him

I see where you are coming from mate, but I think he owes us a bit more than that- he wasnt possibly the best striker in the world before he came to us was he? He ll need to remember that if he decides to bail out on us- not that I think he will though- leave us that is.

Pacheco never played any higher than youth level for Barcelona. He was 16 when we signed him.

pretty sure you have been watching a reseve / youth game. pacheco never played first team for barca.
