What about Tottenham playing Burnley and Bolton? Two teams who havent even been trying for weeks. If they win both of those we cant catch them.

I'm clinging to the fact Spurs just aren't that good and are liable to choke against lesser opposition. They've done it a few times....twice against Wolves, Portsmouth the other week. Often when you least expect it too. Bolton are capable of nicking a point. Hopefully now they're safe they can play without pressure and Coyle will look to have a go at them.

      ****ing fanciful I know but...

        That's why it's very unlikely.

But the ray of light, is that Spurs have a history and tendency of bottling things when they're on the cusp. It's called the Spurs gene.

They've lost at home to Wolves and Stoke and also drew at home to Hull, so you never know. :fingerscrossedsmiley:

I'd defo agree under normal circumstances but with Bolton playing for nothing and Tottenham needing the win, I cant see them getting complacent.

The annoying thing is it was obvious everyone would drop the required points and all we had to do was have a good run and we'd get 4th, instead we drew to Fulham, Brum and lost to a horrendous Wigan team.

They'll be under massive pressure and they're not used to it. I'd ****ing piss myself if a) they bottle it and b) we sneak in through the back door.

I gave up on 4th after the Fulham game and now I'm annoyed with myself for talking myself into this.

But then you'll blame the owners, and that will make you feel you good again.
                          Oh I don't know.

I'm sure there will be plenty who do but hopefully they wont be around much longer to blame! Besides the football side is the responsibility of Rafa.

But then the yanks will **** off, we'll get some good owners and you and most other Liverpool fans will feel better again.
Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon
