Aye I've flirted with it but it's just slightly too much of an ask. Had we beaten Fulham it'd be on, big time.

We need Man City to draw against Villa and Spurs.

Spurs to also lose or draw to Bolton or Burnley.

We than need to beat Chelsea and Hull by decent scorelines to snatch it GD

As we need to beat the Chavs, we then need to Manure to slip up against Sunderland or Stoke so as not to hand them the league.

What an accumulator that would be!!!

According to the Prem league website we have a better GD already.

Forget about it, we blew it ages back.

We've now got to do our bit and deny Man Utd the league.
                  We come not to play.

Do you remember the last day of the season a couple of years ago? Chelski were at home to Sheffield Wednesday or someone like that and Wednesday were putting up a good fight and looked like they may survive against the odds when suddenly Vialli is through on goal and if he scores it would relegate the team and all the Chelski fans started booing Vialli and wishing him to miss!

                      Unfortunatley...he didn't.

I can picture a similar reaction at Anfield next week if we looked like scoring at the death.

We don't really deserve 4th but we've still got a small chance. If Tottenham hadnt beaten Chelsea and Arsenal and Villa hadnt scored a poxy pen today and we'd beaten Fulham then we'd still be in with a right shout. Be a minor miracle mind.

All ifs and buts, we'd have walked it if we'd just played better in a couple of games.

I still mathematically possible, but it's extremely unlikely IMO. We lost it by dropping points against Fulham and Birmingham
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

The other 3 all play the day before us next weekend - if something goes for us, we need to go all out to beat Chelsea.

The mancs go to sunderland, who are a good side at home and without Rooney, it wont be a walkover for them. Bent's scoring goals and it's not beyond the realms of possibility for Sunderland to take something from that game.

Yep, it took a complete fluke by Macheda to get a late winner for them there last season in a similar situation.
