Cheers, either one need take 5 points to rule us out. In other words, we need them all to drop 4 points, possible?

I just wonder whether West Ham United, bouyed by being safe and playing without tension and pressure, could possibly see off their season with a home win against City. I just wonder.

If City beat Spurs and draw with Villa, they'll be on 67 points and then, even if WHU can draw with them, we'd be above City on GD (assuming we win both our games).

If that happens, it means we can afford to see Spurs beating Bolton at home as long as they dont win at Burnley on the final day.

My scenario where all four candidates finish on 68 points, isnt entirely unrealistic.

Its unlikely but possible none the less.

I like the idea of playing on Sunday after watching the others slug it out on the Saturday before.

I dont remotely expect it to happen though, but the fact that it's entirely plausible, will do me for now.

I've accepted that we wont be 4th though, that'll make it easier.

What i dont want however, is for us to win both games and still miss out - having given the title to the mancs.

                        Aye that's key.

FWIW I think Spurs'll do it now. Those wins against Arsenal and Chelsea will prove decisive.

They are in pole position no doubt about it.

Do you really think Given's injury is that crucial? Cant see it myself, City arent often under the cosh at home and two of their remaining games are at Eastlands.

Aye I think they always give you a chance and they're not rock solid at the back. They've a few accidents waiting to happen in Toure, Richards and others. Given always makes a couple of good stops and I think Stuart Taylor is injured too, leaving them that novice who came on yesterday.

Citeh missing one of the best keepers in the league coming up against one of the best away sides in the league, I think there is reason for optimism.
