they cant attract any player in the world cause they dont have the money to buy true world class players like city do. At least if we put off city making CL we might have new owners by then, so we can compete with some of their spending. Also if we delay city making the CL players wont believe they will ever make it, the revolving door will start like at Madrid and hopefully they will be **** after all. Meanwhile Tottenham will play **** in the league because they will be stretched. A man can dream cant he?

Yep, City are gonna spend £200m or so whether they're in the CL or not, makes no difference.

It'll make a difference in terms of the quality of players they can buy, CL qualification for City and they can persuade the best players to join them.

it will end in a draw probably 0-0 so spurs will take 4th.. City will spend big in the summer, but they will not make the top 4 next season (imo) and Spurs will have over achieved too..

City, Spurs and Villa are where they are because we under acheived badly this season..

I also believe so long as we have a fit first 11 for the majority of the season and don't lose anyone from the spine of the team, we will be back in the top 4 next season. This season was a blip, it will not be the norm.

Either way, it only gives them a qualifying game. Can't imagine that either team would have a particularly high co-efficient score and so they've got a big chance of being handed a pretty tough qualifying game.

If City get 4th then they'll spend big bringing in top quality players because of the wages and also CL football, if they don't get 4th then yes they'll still spend big but not on the same calibre of players as they won't have CL football.
If Spurs get 4th Redknapp will cock it up undoubtably so Spurs to win for me please.

exactly my point though. if spurs have at least 30-40 mill to spend and can attract players with the promise of CL football they will get stronger and a new top 5 will emerge with city, arse, manure, chelski and spurs.

we'll end up in the also rans with villa and neverton if spurs get top 4 mark my words.

No I don't think so. It will be much easier to win back our place in the top 4 from Spurs. I can see them struggling badly in the champions league and that having an extremely negative effect on their league campaign. Whereas if Man City get in then they could become the next Chelsea with their limitless spending power

My girlfriend is a Spurs fan, my brother is a Spurs fans, my nephew is a Spurs fan, most of my mates are Spurs fans... so I will be in for an inordinate amount of stick, but I guess I would be happy for them if it is not us...
