Purslow has instigated a PR campaign smearing Rafa Benitez probably with the backing of both hicks and gillett and i read an article recently that suggested that hicks' PR agency were being paid by Liverpool.

This is very wierd but to what end ?

Its got to be something more than just not having to pay compensation. Why would they try to publicly discredit him like this ?
