Rafa is a very intelligent man, so his comments could have a bit more edge like mentioned above. However, I'm taking them at face value and trusting his sincerety. However, I can't help but wish Rafa would now concentrate on his new club. We need to move on too.
      One tit for another.

if we had less income we would have had to sell more players. or raise prices more.

In all seriousness lads, we laughed at Newcastle fans when Keegan sensationally returned as Manager when they called him the 'Messiah' and it was if all he had to do was wave his magic wand and the good times will come flooding back.

We're guilty of behaving in similar fashion jumping on the King Kenny bandwagon.

I would have put Kenny a couple of brackets above Keegan though when it comes to management. No doubt it has been a while, and he will need educating on the tools that are now available to him that would make his job easier.

He would also need to play within his means. This Liverpool squad will not be able to go out and play great football every week. If he can get his head around everything there is no reason he couldn't do it. Just needs to surround himself with the right people.

Prior to giving him the job I personally would love to see his plans for any possible backroom staff.
                  Forwards.......

And appointing Hodgson is completely different than acting like Newcastle

                      Wake up people

We are a ****ing shambles of a club JUST LIKE NEWCASTLE

Fulham have accepted that Roy Hodgson will leave to join Liverpool it has been revealed.

The Mirror says sources at Fulham confirmed last night they have lost all hope of holding onto Hodgson.

A Liverpool board meeting on Friday has rubber-stamped a move for the experienced manager, and formal contact is expected to follow.

Fulham are aware of that interest, and after talks with their manager before he prepared to fly out to the World Cup, they are now resigned to losing him.

Talks over a contract, security of tenure should there be an Anfield takeover, and size of budget will proceed over the next week, and an official announcement could be made by next Wednesday or Thursday if agreement is reached.

Hodgson has spoken to his Fulham board, and conceded that he would find the offer to manage at Liverpool too hard to turn down, despite his affection for the Craven Cottage outfit.

Liverpool are ready to double his contract and also provide massive bonuses for a top four finish, which is the minimum requirement this coming season.

Cept they don't have any major debt and now have a semblance of a buisness plan that reflects a club of their size. I've no loyalty to them but credit given where credits due.

Ashley also seems to have accepted that it was his constant interference that caused such resentment (Dennis Wise!!!!) and has reeled his neck in. While his relationship with the fans will ever be fully fixed there at least appears to be a grudging compromise.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

I'd love to know what this ****ing delay is all about. Apparently we can have Roy for 2.5 million, and we have Dalglish who blatently wants the job. Why haven't we appointed someone yet?

Is it because the board still haven't decided, or are we waiting on someone else?

Makes no sense to drag this out.
