Old Trafford - sitting with home fans

My mate (a leeds fan) has won a pair of tickets to a Man U home game of his choice - so we're gonna go the Liverpool game.

Anyone had to sit amongst the hatred and would you recommend it!?

    Never have, probably never would.

Why's a Leeds fan entering competitions for scum tickets?!

A Liverpool fan and a Leeds fan in the home end at Old Trafford

I've never done it, but I'd imagine you'd have to keep very quiet and put up with alot of anti-Liverpool stuff without reacting. I'd only do it if you know you could keep your mouth shut (which I probably couldn't).
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I sat in the leeds end and supported Liverpool once, I had a few dodgy remarks and stares thrown my way and when i cheered when we scored i thought it probably wasnt the best of ideas. It turned out well as the *******s beat us. I wouldnt advise it vs the scum mind.

I've done it twice and it was by far the worst footballing experience of my life, having to sit on my hands when Danny Murphy scored a penalty to win the game for us and then be surrounded by all those cunts when we lost two years later

Don't put yourself through it mate
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

Its always horrible being in the away wnd, espsecially when our fans start singing away, and you just want to join in. And its even worse when the opposition win.

I was at the Chelski semi a couple of years back. that was really horrible. And the 4-0 defeat by Arsenal, my first game and our biggerst defeat in years. In fact, I should stop going to away games altogether.

My brother Lucas (the est member not the Brazilian dynamo) sat with the scum fans a few years ago in a 4-0 defeat (the one where Sami was sent off). I'll get him to post his thoughts here tomorrow.
That rug really tied the room together.

                            3rd place. Worst champions ever.
