Think people should get off Torres back, he's announced pretty much as soon as coming back off holiday. The lad gets a tiny window every year for a break.

"What my club represents is very important," he says. "If you know what your club stands for and you are part of it you will play better because it means more to you. Every time I pull on a Liverpool shirt I know it's more than just a game. Liverpool has a mentality, an identity, I like. They are a hard-working people's club. They are huge but with a humility."

                Love it.

The delay naturally added to speculation but, hey, he's staying at that is great news.
but why should he have interuppted his holiday with his family to make a statement about staying if he wasn't going to move.when i'm on holiday i take no interest in whats happening back in work, and he's probably the same.also what i found interesting before was an interview with hodgson on lfctv and i'm sure hodgson said he knew a couple of weeks ago that torres was staying,so as long as he told the boss thats alls that mattered.
                    who's arsed?

Manager Roy Hodgson is relieved Fernando Torres has pledged his future to Liverpool but admitted the club would not be able to turn down a massive bid for the Spain striker.

That's quite good, but it should be used as the second verse, rather than just as a stand-alone song.
