Before the return of the King I wasn't keen on him returning to be honest, but if Kenny stays on the football being played would suit him I think and we might actually see the best of him here.

Whatever happens though, Juve either pay the agreed fee or they should be told he's not joining you, pure and simple

If he is currently the best performing midfielder in their league as has been suggested then surely there would be plenty of others interested.

To be honest, I don't really care what happens to him as long as he doesn't come back to us and we maximise the money we get.

No interest in having him back at all.

The availability of a cheaper option in Andrea Pirlo, who is available on a Bosman free transfer in the summer from AC Milan, has also complicated matters as although the 31 year old’s wages would be more, they wouldn’t have to shell out a transfer fee too.
Wonder if this is a case of the money Alberto was getting from us following his big transfer influencing his negotiations with Juve ?
Anyone remember how much he was/is on with us ?

Bring him back, offers us different options off the bench, some much needed flair.

I'd be more than happy to have him back.

Well if Kenny, or a new manger, decides he's a player he really wants, fair enough, but getting him back when it wouldn't be their preferred CM option is a no no. Personally, I'd rather sell and assess exactly who we want to buy with the money.

                      Interestingly,
Kenny wrote (in My Liverpool Home) that he felt Aqualani needed more time in England to settle following his injury problems, and that he felt he could make a big contribution with an injury free run in front of him.

Of course, what's down in a book in the midst of the Hodgson/H+G/Broughton/Purslow era (and pre-Aqua loan I believe) should be treated with some skepticism, even from the great man himself.

It is up to the manager. I don't care if he comes back or not as long as it is the manager that decides it.

If Kenny or whoever is in charge and want him back then we should do everything we can to get him back.

He was **** and injured for us and we've got Gerrard and Miereles anyway. Not a clue why anyone would want him back.

                              Sell. Sell. Sell.

Aquilani would thrive under the management of Kenny
