Yeah but they're a Championship side, I said "lower league".

        Liverpool v Northampton
Ah, depressing times back then with Bodge.

Carling Cup Quarter Final (rnd 5) draw later today:

        Arsenal
        Blackburn
        Cardiff
        Chelsea
        Crystal Palace
        Liverpool
        Manchester City
        Mancester United

As long as we avoid City (h&a), Chelsea (a), United (a) I'll be happy.

        Hope it's:

        Liverpool vs Crystal Palace
        Arsenal vs Chelsea
        United vs City
        Cardiff vs Blackburn

        What will happen:

        City vs Liverpool
        United vs Crystal Palace
        Arsenal vs Blackburn
        Chelsea vs Cardiff

City v United would be lovely.

I just wanna avoid any of the big ones, or at the very least get a home draw.

Nailed on away at one of the biggies.

I'd fancy our chances against any of those except United away or City tbh.

The rest I think we could beat, but I'm worried about City at the minute, they really look unstoppable.
The times they are a changin'.

              What time is the draw?
              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Wouldn't mind facing Crystal Palace just so that I can take another look at Zaha and Williams who I rate.

I really want Palace away. We wont get it though.

                    It'll be:

                    Utd v Palace
                    City v Liverpool
                    Chelsea v Blackburn
                    Arsenal v Cardiff

I'm not very good at statistics but...

We have a one in two chance of getting a home draw. We have a two in seven chance of getting a Championship team.

So I make it we have a one in seven chance of getting a clearly favourable draw.

We shouldn't be surprised if it ends up looking like "the draw has been fixed".

Of course these odds calculations are totally different for Manchester United.

I think we will get Blackburn.

Zaha is sick. Hope we sign this lad, he really does look like the real deal. Haven't really seen much of Williams though, but heard good things about him.
