That first goal was stunning! Seems ok n all. Just a shame he has a pointless friendly against Argentina in Buenos Aires coming up! Spain European and and World Champions surely to **** they can "risk" one or two.

The former Atletico Madrid man, who was substituted soon after netting his second, said after the game: "I feel better every day after the injury, with more rhythm and the goals give me a lot of confidence."

Torres' double saw him move onto 26 goals for his country, level with legendary Real Madrid striker Emilio Butragueno in fifth place in the all-time list.

"It's always nice to be on these lists and it makes me proud to be here and to continue scoring, although the most important thing is the three points and that we've played," Torres added.

The first one was a great finish, maybe the game will have helped him finde fitness and form, but I hope they rest him for the next game, then he's fresh for us when he returns
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Yea I know and when he scored against West Brom it was so good to see him smile again....He is different class when his fit and full of confidence.

These tendencies of feelings towards another man is getting a bit worrying!

First one was a peach of a finish.

If a couple of goals for Spain can bring back his goalscoring confidence, then these internationals may actually be good for LFC. Argentina game looks like its actually in Spain given the 9pm kickoff. No way would the players from both sides go all the way to Argentina for a ****ing friendly.

I don't think I can take it, wouldn't be holding back my tears, if he got injured again. I wish there was a way to express how deep my love is for him. Let's just pray he stays and have patience with him, it will be the greatest day when he wins a trophy with us. God I'm wasting my time...
