    King Kenny

While we are at it, seeing as I have absolutely no idea what kind of player Kenny was, infact I wouldn't even know what position he played (must be some kind of criminal act), tell me about Kenny. Everything you know! Vids are much appreciated

    Cheers guys!

15 minutes and no reply? I am going to assume nobody on this forum thought he was a very good player...?

Kenny played off a number 9 (Ian Rush mainly ) and was a genius. Fantastic eye for a pass, great touch, superb finisher, immense strength and a great big fat arse that he used to back into people and hold the ball up. Unfortunately for me he was just before my time really. I remember his winner at Stamford Bridge and that was right at the end of his playing career. Rush & Dalglish were the dream strike partnership.

        So true.

Like you, Kenny's peak was a bit too early for me. I caught the tail-end of his playing days but my main memories of his greatness refer more to management - he was simply untouchable in those days, and if it wasnt for Hillsborough things could've been so different in many different ways.

dalglish is widely considered to be he only player in our history who might have been a better all around player than stevie. i don't imagine anyone here doesn't rate him. even wums from red cafe woud have to admit it.

Maybe its time for some of the older guys around the forum to lend their "mature knowledge" Neil Young, in all honesty would you do me and i'm sure a few others the honour of letting us know what he was like as well as any of the older posters.

There are plenty of 'older guys' on this forum who saw Dalglish in his pomp. There's one or two who saw Billy Liddell FFS.

Give him a break mate, he's only been watching football for a few years and i shouldnt think there's much info doing the rounds in Australia, about Liverpool in the 1940s.
