Prawn sandwiches - famously mentioned by Roy Keane when he had a go at Man Utd fans who 'dont understand the game' because they're too busy 'eating their prawn sandwiches'

Liverpool still get 0 media coverage here basically, unless its about Harry Kewell's days or Brad Jones Only EPL coverage that makes local sports news is when two of the big 4 play or when there is a freak goal, i.e Alonso from half way or that fluke volley from rooney

Liddell was some player...He had everything. He was fast, powerful, shot with either foot and his headers were like blasts from a gun. On top of all that he was as hard as granite. What a player! He was so strong – and he took a nineteen-inch collar shirt!

Supporting a club, is also knowing about the history of the club.

Snotty nosed kids need to do some research rather than having everything spoon fed to them

Billy Liddel is well inside the top 10 most important/influencial Liverpool players of all time.

One other snippet for you, he had incredibly small feet, I think they were size 4 or very close to that size

I am 44 years old and seen Kenny's whole career, albeit on telly. I even remember seeing him in a Scottish cup final for celtic. Kenny was at his peak in a time after Cruyf and before the best of Platini and Zico and the rise and rise of Maradona. Without a hint of exaggeration and without bias, for a couple of years in the late 70's, maybe 1980 I firmly believe Kenny was the world's best player. He was that good.

He had the greatest football brain, he seen it all on a pitch and drew the best out of everyone around him with awesome skill and passing ability. He was inventive, courageous and took **** from no one.

Not to mention kenny the man as well. He took a lot of the burden of Heysel and nearly all of the burden of Hillsborough.

That's why he is King Kenny.

Look for a dvd on the history of LFC - there are so many cracking players that have passed through the doors - Roger Hunt, Steve Heighway, Souness, Hansen, Rushie christ I could go!! We've had some true legends at Liverpool but nobody can top the King!

I remember 1977 when KK left, was absolutely gutted, then along came Kenny, the man was a bloody genius. The rest as they say is history, and it's there for all to see.

Fernandinho, Craig Johnson was some player too!!!
The stars are shining like rebel diamonds cut out of the sun.

It might be controversial but I'd maybe argue that Souness was slightly better than Stevie. He used to absolutely monster the midfield but also possessed great passing ability and a thunderous strike of the ball.

It used to be Kenny, Souness and then Rush for me.
