I couldn't care less tbh. Rafa didn't want to stay because of the Yanks and made his situation unworkable himself by finishing 7th and crashing out in the CL, compounded by buying a crock to replace Alonso - a player he pushed out the door.

If one manager leaves, another has to come in. I'm none the wiser as to who we interviewed for the job, but in a situation where the term could be until October, who in their right mind is going to apply for the job?

It's two totally different systems. That is a big problem. Roy need to change his style so the youth team players can adapt more easily.
I didn't see the game, how did we play?

Rafa was right OUR club is run by idiots who know nothing about football. If they did Kenny would be our manager now. Just sell the club and **** off broughton

Don't think we can afford to sack Roy.

Seriously though, what were you expecting, that Roy was going to come in and make us contenders again???

He was brought in to do a job while the ownership issue is sorted, don't expect us to get a proper manager until we have new owners.

As bizarre as Molby blaming Rafa?

Though I agree that Royston is horribly, horribly out of his depth.

              Yeah, it should.

Even if one of us was manager for the night you'd expect us to win. The players out on the pitch should have showed more desire. I didn't see the game, but it is clearly a lack of passion and fight that has cost us as quality should not be an issue.

If someone asked about my opinion then I would sack Roy and give the job to José Segura who know our youth team players and the squad probably better than anyone else at the club.

He know our weaknesses and our strengths and he play a positive pass and move style football.

He won the league and cup in Greece with Olympiakos so he isn't exactly a rookie either.

1 year contract innit? That would be most of the striker transfer budget for January!

Gutted, but after having a few minutes to cool down. We're out of the league cup. Weren't ever going to take it seriously even if it was our best chance of silverware. Arsenal U-11s would have knocked us out somewhere down the line anyway.

The youngsters have f*cked up their chance of getting more games. Good. Pacheco, Babel and even Ngog need to take a good hard look at themselves and ask whether they want to stay. You ain't getting many games now mateys!!

Spearing is our central midfield Nabil El Zhar. Honestly, I've watched him lots. He is crap. End of. Lucas I liked in his first season, he's actually regressed into a player that even Northampton wouldn't take on loan. And I wouldn't blame them as their 17th spot in the division would be under threat.

Roy, takes the blame for not trying Amoo, Ecclestone and Ince earlier. Not that I have any faith in those three. I think they're ok but nothing special. All three will be gone soon enough for good-ish money.

Molby was blaming Rafa due to the squad we had left and available for this game.

I think that is harsh as whilst he did draft poor players in, he also made a profit in the transfer market for 4 windows running.

Its not the managers fault. We wanted him to play the kids and the fringe players and thats what he did. Its their fault for not performing

                              BUT

We're at home, with plenty of paying punters in the stands.
The gulf in standing between the clubs is huge
And arguably the League Cup was our best chance of silverwear this year

Never warmed to Roy and nothing I've seen suggests he's capable. Still we might as well stick with him and see how far we drop.

I said this in the other thread and stand by it

Worst start for 18 years in the league

Fail to win Saturday and its the worst start for over 50 years (since we got relegated in the 50's)

Out of the League Cup by a side 17th in League 2 (or 3rd from bottom in the 4th division for any old arses like me out there)

He NEVER should have been appointed and how the **** we overlooked Kenny for him is beyond ****ing belief
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

it would bbe time to react badly if this was two years ago and the club are flying high

we are not we are finding our new level.

the club is rotten and to vent everything at Roy misses the point. the point is owners who are draining money and the life out of the club.

to keep going clubs need new players improvements in players etc we are not we are replacing with players of lesser quality.

we dont have the money to develop to where we want

Roy coudl be doing better but not top 4 better and the malaise at the club looks like it is paralysing everyone.

thats what needs sorting then we can look and say a b or c arent doing well. but with that weight around the club we are being a little less than charitable and certainly not within the standards of best fans in the world tht we like to belive we are.
