    Dead giveaways.
fair enough though. it's not like he signed most of these. nor probably knew an awful lot about them previously. fair dos if he wants to ring the changes with some of our reserves. esp players like spearing who's never going to make it with us...

surely every word of every sentence shouldn't be picked apart!
Even so, two players making their debuts, and 3 young and inexperienced players in the starting 11, the majority are senior players with a significant amount of experience in the first team, those players can have no excuses.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Fair enough about his good season, which just so happened to be the season the whole club played well and more like a team and finished 2nd. However, how many did he score last season or the season before his good one and while you're looking how about assists for last season or the season before his good one. I do agree he manages to score crucial goals for us and to be honest ever since he joined us I wanted to see him play in his proper position, striker where he scored 71 goals in 101 appearances for Feyenord.

Out of interest Gerrard when playing on the right scored 20+ goals and John Barnes way back managed 22 from the left!

Even more bizarre were the people who believed that Mourinho and Hiddink would be making a queue to work at LFC if Rafa was ousted.

Taken from TLW from a guy who was on the Kop last night.

That last night was the worst football match I have EVER seen Liverpool play.

We where dominated and outplayed by a team from the 4th division of English football. The 4th division of English football. And they are 17th place in that 4th division, 70 odd places below ourselves.

Barring the goal, we did not have 1 shot on target in the whole 90 minutes.

That was not a team of kids we started with either.

Jones, Agger, Kyrgiakos, Lucas, Jovanovic, Babel, Ngog - 7 FULL INTERNATIONALS

Wilson, Kelly, Spearing, Pacheco - All respresented their countries at junior levels

So, a Liverpool team, at home, containing 11 players who all have international experience where out-fought and out-thought by a a team from the 4th Division. It wasn't them who where thankful for the extra time, it was us! They had us on the ropes, at one stage in the second half they where pretty much camped in our penalty area through a succession of corners and persistent pressure.

The 11 players out there should be ****in ashamed of themselves. Infact, I'll say the only one who can take some credit is Jay Spearing. You could see it mattered to him and he continued to battle to the end. The rest,...

I don't hold the kids who came off the bench responsible, I actually felt sorry for them for having to make their debut along side that shower of ****e. Shelvey showed more quality when he came on than the rest of the midfield did all night.

Whatever 11 we put out last night should have blown them away. However, the manager once again has left a massive question mark over his head. To let a Liverpool side be dominated by Northampton Town is criminal, and greatly worrying. He didn't change nothing, personnel or tactically, he just sat motionless on the bench. Our masterplan to claw ourselves back in to the match was to lump our tallest defender up front in desperation. Against Northampton ****in Town for **** sake! My doubts are increasing more and more about the suitability of our manager for this job. He'll continue to get my support as he did last night, but I'm really starting to believe that he's out of his depth.

Well done Northampton, you deserved it. But our club from top to bottom need to take a long hard look at themselves today because we are standing at the edge of the cliff here.

Trust me in previous occassions I've received dozens of texts and facebook abuse.

We are that bad fans from other teams don't get any satisfaction from taking the piss.

                    We have turned into Newcastle
I wish my friends thought the same as yours

Bit in bold is what concerns me second most when it comes to Hodgson.

The most concering part is that whatever team we have faced, we have invited pressure on us.

The only acceptable games have been Arsenal and Man Utd. Acceptable as due to us being down to ten men against Arsenal I expected us to sit back. Acceptable as due to us being low in confidence and away at Old Trafford, I expected us to sit back. And with a bit more luck, we could have won both games. Not by being the better team, but by riding out the games and getting the result. Being dominated by those teams I can take, due to the circumstances.

But its the same every game, and I would like to know why. We sat back against Steau. We did the same against West Brom. We did the same against Man City. We did the same against Birmingham. And we did the same against Northampton.

Just sat back. Waited. And kindly allowed the other team to get their confidence and build up attacks against us. And that is why it is so hard watching LFC atm.

The worry for me is that quite often so far, Hodgson's sides have failed to create more than a single chance or two.

Because people wants to prove that "they want Rafa out" is correct, therefore, they have to support Roy no matter what he does.

I think you have just encapsulated Hodgsons tactics
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."
