I felt that at times and in previous seasons - it seemed as though he didn't want to win a second CL as it would undermine his demands for more cash - the rather half-hearted attempt seemed designed to hightlight the lack of quality in the squad.. I'm sure it wasn't the case..

There seems to be a conspiracy within the club to get rid of G&H at the moment though- Purslow (who has been labelled a traitor at times) has basically said that any attempt to refinance would be blocked by the board - as close to mutiny as he could get away with IMHO.

I wonder/hope that the board is trying to ensure that they are forced to sell off the club at a reasonable price and already have a sound buyer lined up - possibly one that has previously refused to buy at the ridiculous price asked by G&H, like DIC?

If we don't win the next 2 league games then fair enough you can start calling for his sacking. But I believe we will win those games and atleast 2 of the 3 that follow. Then the mood will be different

I thought we'd beat Northampton and Sunderland. Safc got ten points from 19 away games last year. They can not be considered a difficult team to play against.

Hopefully we can get new owners in soon and they can bring their own man
in. Would save everyone further embarrassment and would not make the club look
like another nufc.
