I can't see us not winning to be honest. Got a good feeling about this game. We need to approach it carefully in case we get caught in the first few minutes, so 4-5-1 should be fine, but we should be the stronger team as the game wears on.

Torres is nearly there, once he gets going properly we'll be devastating. Until then Cole, Miereles and Gerrard can do their magic. I hope Jova, Maxi or Babel don't start though. Never thought I'd say this but I'd rather have Kuyt starting.

Have to admit Roy is beginning to worry me if he's just going to turn into another Houllier/Rafa type manager in terms of boring play. But in this case it will be justified as long as he changes the formation in the second half once we've found our rythm.

Roy has always been a defensive manager. Have you actually watched a team managed by him before?

****ing hell - can't even think about it - anything other than a win and roy will be ****ed.

the next three games are vital for him

3 wins, goes someway to repairing the damage especially a win away to everton would be massive boost.

2 home wins and a draw away to eveton would be an improvement on things, and has to be be the bare minumum

anything less is unthinkable, and a loss away to everton could well be the end.....
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Not too many to be honest, have only heard he is defensive. Have been secretly hoping it was because of the lack of decent players at his disposal that he now has.

Maybe he needs time to adjust too.

Same here. Only change could be Kuyt for Maxi if he is fit to start on Sunday.

I think it will be a very tight game but we will come on top by one.

                  i'd go:

                  jones

                  kelly / soto / agger / wilson

                  pacheco / lucas / spearing / jova

                  babel / ngog

got a good feeling that team would win easy!

                    Reina

                    Johnson
                    Carra
                    Skrtel
                    Konchesky

                    Poulsen

                    Kuyt
                    Gerrard
                    Meireles
                    Cole

                    Torres

Simple 4-1-4-1 formation, should beat Sunderland. 2-0 I reckon.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Poulsen to Hodgson is as Lucas was to Rafa - he'll start.

This will be dire I think - but we'll get a result à la WBA...

Yes, but Rafa never had other available options a lot of the time, Roy does, like Lucas for example.
